We Are TRE!
A 7-piece pop rock band from Pennsylvania, started in 2010 and since then released two albums, sold thousands of copies, won multiple awards and rocked hundreds of stages. We give a sound to the nights where we felt most alive. The music we make shows who we are in our experiences, passions, and lifestyles. Our music is compared by the national press to that of Maroon 5, One Direction, Fun., David Guetta and Calvin Harris.
- Debut album, self-titled, won the highest local Music Awards in the Song of the Year category (2011), Album of the Year category (2012), and Rock Band category (2012).
- For sophomore album, Even If Your Voice Shakes (2013), we worked with award-winning producers Earl Cohen (Lady GaGa, Pink)and Ken Lewis (Jay-Z, Kanye West, Usher), and engineer Chris Gehringer (Drake, Fun., Kelly Clarkson, Ke$ha, Madonna, Rihanna).
- We’ve shared the stage with Jason Derulo, Andy Grammer, Fabolous, Bone Thugs N Harmony, The Plain White T’s, and We The Kings among others.
Overall our band has a very unique edge, a party-animal personality and very exciting sound – when you listen to our music or come to our shows, it’s not just about listening to good music or watching a band. It’s like a party: we’re there with you having just as much fun as you are, whether it’s through the speakers or next to you up on the stage.
Even If Your Voice Shakes was released on December 1st 2012, it’s an electric blend of sounds from different genres and emotionally charged lyrics. We wanted to give voice to the great nights, the unforgettable ones, those you spend with the people who love to live hard, wild, and who are not afraid to be what they are Even If Their Voice Shakes while doing it.
Whether it is letting go and having a wild great time, or emotional love struggles, or the thirst to rule this world – we think a lot of people connect with our stories.
THE STORY:
Connor (LEAD SINGER) and Ben (DRUMS) met playing high school football and found a similar passion for all types of music in jazz band during school. They started The Romantic Era a few years later and recruited the other five members; including Connor’s younger brothers Bryant (BASS) and Colin (KEYS), two talented GUITARISTS Alan and Dave, and a soulful BACKUP SINGER: Parris.
As a band that is already half family and mostly former college athletes they had an instant chemistry as a group and having a great time on stage performing with each other and in the studio making music is something that comes easily to them.
Becoming The Romantic Era - a team and a family - was not out of luck for the 7 musicians, who share the vision to capture through music the energy and passion they feel for life. All of the band members had an affinity for music since childhood, but really became interested in making it a career in their late high school and early college years – and they continue do to so ever since. “The more we get into it and the more and more people around the world start connecting with our music the more we realize this is our path, and we love every minute of it.”
